EU project PrAEctiCe paves the way for climate-smart agri-food systems in East Africa

Eastern Africa faces significant challenges accessing adequate, safe, and nutritious food. Climate change and extreme weather threaten farmers across Eastern Africa, who rely on their crops to feed their families, their community, and their country. The PrAEctiCe project “Potentials of Agro-ecological practices in East Africa with a focus on Circular water-energy-nutrient systems “,will help tackle the issue of food security through a concept into action approach in the area of farming sustainability. The project partners successfully hosted its Online Agroecology Summit „Facilitating Agroecological Transition among Smallholder Farmers through Technology and Innovation” in October 2024.
