With SkinDoc, the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) presents an AI-based solution for teledermatology. The AI-based application enables a precise and comprehensible evaluation of skin lesions, supported by the latest methods of explainable artificial intelligence. SkinDoc combines ongoing research with practical applicability, making a vital contribution to the early detection of skin cancer. From 28 January 2025, the demonstrator will be permanently exhibited and accessible to the public in the new AI Innovation & Quality Centre (IQZ-Berlin) on the premises of the German Museum of Technology.
